What the month pillar is
Geng-Xu month pillar, NaYin "钗钏金". Stem Geng is Metal; branch Xu is undefined, hiding Wu, Xin, Ding (Direct Resource, Rob Wealth, Seven Killings). The month pillar governs parents, siblings and the formative environment — and carries the heaviest weight in pattern (ge-ju) and strength judgment.
Solar-term window
This branch spans Cold Dew to Start of Winter (~Oct 8 – Nov 6). Month pillars switch at solar terms, not calendar months — births within a day or two of a boundary need precise (ideally true-solar-time) calculation.
Pattern clue
The main hidden stem 戊 is the season's command: if it also appears in the stems, it points to the chart's main pattern. How the month stem relates to the Day Master decides the pattern's flavor.

FAQ
What is BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny)?
BaZi maps your birth year, month, day and hour into four pairs of stems and branches, then reads personality, career and timing patterns from their Five-Element interactions. It is a traditional Chinese interpretive system, not a scientific prediction.
Is one pillar enough for a reading?
No. Each page here is an entry point; a full reading needs all four pillars, Ten Gods, patterns and Luck Pillars together. You can cast a free full chart on this site.
Does BaZi decide my fate?
No. BaZi describes tendencies and timing, not fixed outcomes. Major decisions should combine real-world information, and content here is for cultural reference only.
